VISIT OF RIYADH INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY WEEK 2024
On 6th May 2024, Artemis Business Care visited the Riyadh International Industry Week 2024, and met with representatives of the two French companies exhibiting there: Savoye and Touchline Interactive.
This international trade show brough together 4 major events under one roof:
The Riyadh International Industry Week 2024 connects 520 exhibitors from 23 countries and more than 400 local, regional and international organisations with over 16,000 regional and international industrial sector leaders in Riyadh, at the heart of the fastest growing economy in the MENA region.
This makes it the largest industrial sector gathering in the Middle East.
Saudi Arabia is the birth country of global giants like Aramco and Sabic. And this event shows its commitment to promoting Plastics and Petrochemicals, Printing and Packaging, Smart Manufacturing and Smart Logistics Industries as the main pillars of the national economic diversification strategy.
Indeed, Saudi Arabia is investing important resources to localise and strengthen its industry and its manufacturing capacity, in order to achieve self-sufficiency and to increase the contribution of non-oil economic activities to its GDP.
Today, Saudi Arabia accounts for over 67% of GCC Plastic Resins Production and was the largest Polymers Consumer Accounting for 61% of the consumption in the GCC.
The Saudi Arabian plastic packaging market is projected to reach USD 11.93 billion by 2026, registering a CAGR of 5.6% during the period of 2021-2026.
Therefore, it offers very interesting opportunities to European companies.
